Jacob Vreugdenhill and Dylan Lansman, both 17, were arrested at their homes in Grand Junction Jan. 6. An arrest warrant has also been issued for Joshua Blumberg, 18, also of Grand Junction.
The three allegedly damaged 14 vehicles, including a Greene County sheriff’s vehicle, and four homes in Grand Junction with a BB gun between Dec. 23 and Dec. 29.
Vreugdenhill is charged with criminal mischief-second degree, a class D felony, and burglary-second degree, a class C felony, for allegedly breaking into an occupied home and stealing undisclosed items during that same time period.
Lansman is charged with criminal mischief-aiding and abetting, a class D felony.
Vreugdenhill and Lansman have both been referred to juvenile court authorities.
Blumberg is charged in district court with criminal mischief-aiding and abetting.
Greene County deputy David Kersey was the lead investigator. According to chief deputy Jack Williams, Kersey developed the three as suspects based on prior knowledge.
